We are supporting a high-growth, family owned business in Nottingham in their search for a new Financial Controller. Reporting to the Managing Director you will take full ownership of the finance function and help shape the strategic growth of the business. There is a clear plan in place for this individual to step into the Finance Director role in the future. Nottingham - £70,000 - £80,000p/a and site-based. The business currently turns over c£30m and with an aggressive growth strategy in place this should reach £50m in the next 2 years. Brief overview of responsibilities: Ensure timely and accurate year-end statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP/FRS102 Maintain and improve Financial Controls Lead the annual budget process and rolling forecast Produce and manageCash Flow Forecasts Managing banking relationships, facilities and covenant reporting Oversee Inventory Accounting Oversee Corporation Tax calculations and submissions, Ensure all HMRC and statutory filing deadlines are met Manage and develop financial systems and reporting tools Support FX hedging strategies We are seeking a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Financial Controller with experience in a product-led business ideally with exposure to import/export.
