Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a high-calibre Financial Controller to join their finance department. Role The Financial Controller will support the CFO and work closely with the FP&A function in the day-to-day running of the finance department. They will manage and lead the team whilst taking ownership of month-end/year-end processes, reporting and analysis. This position will take on a number of key duties including: Oversee the production of accurate financial information in accordance with UK GAAP and external regulations. Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring high performance and regular reviews. Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring that postings are finalised in line with close timetable. Ensure robust financial policies & controls are maintained and communicated efficiently. Lead the review of weekly and monthly payment runs.
