With a strong focus on profitability, operational efficiency, and strategic growth, they are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead their finance function and support senior leadership in driving business performance.The Role:As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and insightful analysis. You will work closely with the senior management team to support strategic decision-making and improve commercial outcomes. The role includes line management responsibility for two direct reports within the finance team.Key Responsibilities:Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and cash managementManaging and developing two direct reports, providing guidance, support, and performance managementProducing timely and accurate monthly management accounts with detailed commentaryLeading budgeting and forecasting processesDelivering financial analysis to support commercial decision-makingMonitoring cash flow and working capital performanceEnsuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal controlsManaging the year-end process and liaising with external auditorsIdentifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gainsSupporting senior stakeholders across the business with financial insightRequirements:Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role within a commercial environmentStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong systems skills, including advanced ExcelAbility to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholdersProactive, hands-on approach with a commercial mindsetDesirable:Experience in SME or growing business environmentsExperience implementing or improving financial systems and processesBenefits:Competitive salary and performance-related bonusPension scheme25 days holiday plus bank holidaysOn-site parkingOpportunities for career progression in a growing businessHow to Apply:Please submit your CV along with a cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role.JBRP1_UKTJ
