A well-established and respected name in the events and display industry, is seeking a hands-on and commercially minded Financial Controller (or Qualified by Experience) to lead its finance function from the heart of its Edinburgh operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and monthly management accounts Produce financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for senior leadership Manage cash flow, support project cost tracking, and provide strategic insight to drive business performance Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (HMRC, VAT, pensions, etc.) Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and suppliers Support operational teams with job costing, pricing, and profitability analysis Implement or streamline internal financial processes and controls
