As a Financial Controller, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the financial function, ensuring the business remains compliant and competitive. Your responsibilities will include: Accounting Duties: Oversee the entire accounting function Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including accounting and tax issues Plan and set-up payments Execute month-end balance sheet reconciliations Prepare Monthly Management Accounts and board reports Liaise with external accountants for Year-End Accounts Supervise and develop the Accounts team Prepare annual R&D Tax claims Financial Management: Develop and implement effective credit control strategies Manage cash flow to ensure adequate working capital Oversee grants and funding management Conduct budgeting and forecasting to align with 1-5 year goals Represent Finance & Company Systems on the Senior Leadership Team Collaborate with senior managers on budget setting and financial goals Provide insights on the organisation's financial performance
