We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our client, one of the world’s leading and award winning independent entertainment companies specialising in the production and distribution companies Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyse financial reports, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards; Assist in budgeting, forecasting, monitor cash flow, revenue streams, and financial performance across different business units. Royalties & Revenue Accounting: Report, track and reconcile royalty payments to producers, and rights holders; Ensure proper calculation and distribution of streaming, and licensing revenues; Liaise with legal and to ensure compliance with contracts and agreements. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage revenue invoicing processes partnering with the relevant teams and payments across the group; Manage producer payments, advances, recoupments, and expense allocations. Tax & Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and financial reporting standards; Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting and payroll.
