We're working with a high-growth, product-led technology business operating internationally and forming part of a highly regarded lgroup.

This is a senior, commercially focused Financial Controller role for someone who wants real influence and ownership. You'll sit on the leadership team and act as the finance partner to the Business Unit Director , shaping decisions across revenue, margin and growth — while taking full responsibility for financial control and delivery.

What You'll Be Doing Act as the right-hand finance partner to the Business Unit Director
Take full ownership of the month-end close , delivering accurate accounts to tight deadlines
Clearly understand, explain and present the drivers behind monthly results , forecasts and budgets
Deliver disciplined group and corporate reporting within a structured governance environment
Monitor and analyse stock, inventory and gross margin performance , ensuring both financial control and commercial insight
Drive improvements in cost efficiency across product costs, overheads and the balance sheet, improving ROCE
Lead and develop the finance team, setting direction and standards
Support optimisation of a recently implemented ERP system
Operate as a credible, influential member of the Senior Leadership Team
Who This Will Suit

This role is for a broad, hands-on Financial Controller — not a narrow technician or FP&A-only profile.

You'll likely have:
Experience as a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or equivalent
Strong technical credibility with proven ability to close the books
Broad finance exposure across accounting, reporting, budgeting and commercial analysis
Experience delivering group or corporate reporting
Strong business partnering experience with MDs or operational leaders
People management and team development experience
Background in a product, manufacturing, FMCG, retail or construction-related business , with hands-on exposure to stock, inventory and gross margin management
Nice to have (not essential):
Foreign currency exposure (USD / EUR)
NetSuite or similar ERP experience
Experience in project-led or large-scale commercial environments
Qualifications Qualified or QBE — experience, judgement and credibility matter more than letters

Package & Working Pattern Salary: £65,000 to £70,000
