Financial Controller Romsey, Hampshire (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) 6-Month Contract About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Controller to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation based in Romsey. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving financial excellence, improving reporting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for overseeing core finance operations while contributing to process improvements and ensuring robust financial control across the business. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations (AR, AP, GL, inventory, fixed assets)
Prepare and deliver monthly and annual financial statements
Drive improvements in financial reporting processes and controls
Oversee treasury and cash management activities
Coordinate budgeting and forecasting cycles
Manage internal and external audits , ensuring compliance
Oversee tax matters , including VAT
Lead and develop the financial reporting team
Partner with stakeholders and support the Finance Director
