This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced tax professional, whether from practice or industry, to join a dynamic and ambitious Financial Services team that is experiencing exceptional growth. Background This position will suit either: A senior tax professional currently working in practice, seeking a step up to Director level with increased client and leadership responsibility. An experienced industry tax specialist, ideally from the banking, asset/wealth management or aviation sectors, who is interested in transitioning into advisory and applying their sector knowledge in a client-facing environment. The Role The successful candidate will lead tax advisory work across a diverse financial services client base, including asset and wealth management, banking, and aviation. What You Will Do Take the lead on a wide range of tax advisory projects across the financial services sector. Provide high-level technical expertise, delivering innovative and commercially focused solutions. Mentor, support and develop a talented and ambitious tax team. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and playing a central role in the continued growth of the Belfast FS practice. Extensive experience in a senior tax role, gained either in practice or within industry (banking, asset/wealth management, or aviation). Strong technical knowledge with proven ability to manage complex advisory projects. Leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
