We are a ground-breaking, award-winning independent fine wine & rare spirit retailer based in Central London. We are looking for an enthusiastic & proactive assistant for our fine wine & rare spirit warehouse in Tottenham, North London. The role will be full time, 5 days a week Monday to Friday with biweekly Saturday working required. Previous warehouse experience is an advantage as is an interest in working with wine & spirits. This is a perfect job for anyone with an interest in the warehousing, logistics, storage & movement of fine wine & rare spirit stock. You will be assisting with the reconciliation of deliveries, picking orders as well as merchandising & photography of goods. This is a hands-on role covering all inbound & outbound stock movement. The role requires being able to do heavy lifting and physical movement of stock. You must be self-starting, disciplined & above all trust worthy. Daily Duties: Picking and labelling the stock, ready for same day dispatch Vehicle loading and unloading (by hand & forklift) Liaison with Shop stock room, inbound and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels Ensuring service standards are maintained, work processes are followed & are continually monitored to be improved Accurate checking & receipting of all inbound stock Processing and packing of web orders Skills & Experience Exceptional team work ethos Excellent attention to detail & accuracy Good spoken & written English Ability to work unsupervised Computer literate (Excel & Outlook) Experience using forklift and reach trucks an advantage, but not essential as training can be provided Flexibility in working hours during peak times Wine and spirit knowledge an advantage.
