Fire Alarm Engineer Location : Central London (Foot-Mobile Across Multiple Sites)

Role Overview You will be responsible for the proactive and reactive maintenance, testing, fault diagnosis, and repair of fire alarm and life-safety systems across a variety of residential and commercial sites. This role ensures systems remain fully operational, compliant with British Standards (e.g., BS?5839-1), and deliver reliable protection. The role is foot-mobile across central London sites and requires hands-on technical expertise, excellent fault-finding skills, and a focus on safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and test fire detection and alarm systems in line with British Standards. Conduct fault-finding, remedial repairs, and system optimisation on panels, devices, interfaces, and auxiliary circuits. Carry out statutory inspections, tests, and preventative maintenance visits to ensure compliance. Accurately log and report all servicing, inspection results, defects, and recommendations using digital systems. Attend reactive call-outs efficiently, providing professional client service.
