Fire Alarm Engineer\n\nService, Maintenance & Small Works\n\nCheltenham\n\n£36,000 - £42,000 DOE.\n\nDoor to door travel, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays (goes up with each year served), bonus and incentives, training and progression, sick pay. \n\nThe Role\n\nAn established, NSI Gold accredited fire and security business is looking for an experienced Fire Engineer to join its service and maintenance team. This is a field-based role focused on servicing, maintaining and carrying out small works on commercial sites, primarily large retail environments.\n\nEngineers are trusted to manage their own diaries and workloads, with a supportive and hands-on management team that regularly meets engineers on site and in person.

Installation works are handled by a separate install team, allowing you to focus on service and maintenance.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nService and maintain fire alarm systems\nFault finding and repairs\nSmall works and minor system alterations\nWorking to current fire safety standards and regulations\nCompleting job sheets and reports accurately\nProfessional interaction with clients on site\n\nSystems Worked On\n\nAdvanced\nKentec\n\nWorking Hours\n\nMonday to Friday - 8:30am – 5:00pm\n\nOvertime\n\nWeekdays & Saturdays: Time and a Half\nSundays: Double Time\nOvertime is available but not excessive\n\nWhat This Role Offers\n\nTrust-based working culture\nFreedom to manage your own diary\nSupportive and approachable management\nRegular face-to-face catch-ups with management and other engineers\nLong-term, stable contracts with clients\nClear separation between install and service work\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nExperience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems\nKnowledge of Advanced and Kentec panels ()\nStrong fault-finding ability\nComfortable working independently\nGood customer-facing and communication skills\nFull UK driving licence\nHow to Apply:\n\nIf you're an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer with a passion for making a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
