We’re growing and we’re looking for skilled professionals who want to grow with us.\nThe Role\nWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing but not limited to the installation, maintenance, servicing and upgrading of Fire Alarm and AOV systems.\nThe role will involve working across a variety of domestic and commercial properties, primarily within the social housing and local authority sectors. All work must be completed to a consistently high standard, using technical expertise in line with industry regulations and company expectations.\nKey Responsibilities\nInterpret fire alarm and AOV drawings and specifications where required\nInstall, service, maintain, repair, and adapt fire alarm and AOV systems\nCarry out full system installations and upgrades\nComplete scheduled servicing and inspections\nDemonstrate competence with a wide range of fire alarm control panels and equipment, including closed protocol systems\nEnsure all work complies with BS 7671 and BS 5839 regulations\nComplete all job reports and certification accurately using the Oneserve application\nWork safely and in accordance with current Health & Safety legislation and fire safety standards\nAttend and complete all company-provided training\nParticipate in performance reviews, improvement programmes, and appraisals\nLiaise effectively with office staff and supervisors to resolve queries\nAdhere to company KPIs and operational standards\nCarry out any other reasonable duties as directed by management\nEssential Qualifications & Experience\nLevel 3 Electrical Installation qualification\nFIA training and certification\nFIA AO Level 3 in Fire Detection and Alarm Design Theory and Regulatory Requirements\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in the fire safety industry\nFull UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)\nWhat We Offer\nAt Fixatex, we believe great people deserve great support.
