The Role

As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and supporting fire alarm systems across a range of London sites (mainly in Central London). You will play a key role in ensuring systems remain compliant, reliable and maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and effectively
  • Complete service reports and associated paperwork accurately
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with current standards, including BS 5839-1
  • Communicate professionally with clients, site contacts and colleagues
  • Maintain high levels of health and safety awareness on site
  • professionally represent the company at all times

Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in fire alarm servicing
  • Strong working knowledge of BS 5839-1
  • Experience servicing and fault-finding on fire alarm systems
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Able to reliably commute to Central London or relocate before starting
Preferred Qualifications / Certifications
  • FIA qualifications
  • ECS / ESC Card
  • IPAF
  • GCSE or equivalent
