We take pride in safeguarding people, property, and operations for our clients. Role Description We are seeking a full-time Fire and Security Service and Small Works Engineer based in London. Responsibilities include the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and commissioning of fire alarm systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems. The role will also involve testing and inspecting emergency lighting and fire detection systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, you will work closely with our technical team, ensure accurate documentation, and provide excellent customer service during site visits. This is an on‑site role requiring travel to various client locations within/around London. Qualifications

Proven experience with fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and fire suppression systems, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance Knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and use testing equipment for fault diagnosis and repair Up-to-date understanding of industry standards such as BS 5839-1:2025, BS 5266-1:2016, and BS 5306-8:2023 Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong verbal communication skills, with a customer‑focused approach and the ability to build and maintain client relationships Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various sites Relevant certification or qualification in fire and security systems is an advantage
