What Youll Be Doing -Reactive Work

Respond to emergency call-outs within agreed SLAs

Participate in our out-of-hours support rota

Diagnose and resolve faults across fire, security, and telecom systems

Deliver both temporary fixes and long-term solutions

Produce clear, accurate service reports

Communicate confidently with clients about system status and next steps

Planned Preventative Maintenance

Carry out routine servicing and inspections to industry standards

Test and maintain fire alarm systems (conventional & addressable)

Service intruder alarms, CCTV (IP & analogue), and access control

Maintain TECS systems including structured cabling and intercoms

Identify system issues and recommend improvements

Systems Youll Work With

Fire Alarm Systems (BS5839)

Intruder Alarms

CCTV (IP preferred)

Access Control

Emergency Lighting (BS5266)

TECS / Structured Cabling / Door Entry

What Were Looking For (Essential)

Proven experience in fire & security servicing

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Solid understanding of relevant British Standards

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Full UK driving licence

Confident IT skills for digital reporting

Excellent communication and customer service

Desirable

FIA or relevant fire/security qualifications

ECS/CSCS card

IPAF/PASMA

Experience with major manufacturers systems

Understanding of SSAIB/NSI compliance
