We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Door Inspector / Surveyor to join a well-established UK consultancy that delivers specialist safety services across a varied residential portfolio.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of premium residential living developments, many of which are complex, high-end environments featuring facilities such as wellness centres, spas, and large communal spaces.
You will be travelling across the Winchester area, the South Coast, and selected locations across the Home Counties supporting clients across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed fire door inspections and surveys across complex residential and care environments
* Carry out site-based risk assessments in line with health & safety requirements Identify compliance gaps against current fire safety legislation and guidance
* Produce clear, accurate reports to support remedial planning and compliance Represent the consultancy professionally on-site, building strong client relationships Opportunities to support the consultancy’s wider fire safety services, including: Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) Compartmentation and passive fire protection surveys
* Wider fire safety and compliance projects
Ideal Person:
* Experience in fire door inspections
* Comfortable working independently across multiple sites
* Confident using digital inspection/reporting systems
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
