Our client is currently seeking an experienced Fire & Intruder Alarm Engineer to join their growing team. This is a field-based role that requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively. Engineers would be expect to cover the Greater Manchester and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

* Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of fire detection and intruder alarm systems.

* Fault-finding, diagnostics, and timely resolution of technical issues.

* Ensuring all work is carried out in line with current industry standards, regulations, and company procedures.

* Providing a professional and courteous service to clients.

* Completing accurate job reports, service records, and relevant documentation.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in a similar engineering role.

* Strong technical knowledge of fire detection and intruder alarm systems.

* Good understanding of current legislation and industry best practices.

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

* Full, clean UK driving licence.
