We are representing a well-established, technically respected fire risk consultancy known for delivering high-quality, risk-led advice across complex and high-profile property portfolios.

Our client is seeking an individual who wants to deliver technically robust fire risk assessments and actively progress their CPD within the sector. This opportunity would suit a Fire Risk Assessor who is either already Level 4 qualified or an experienced Level 3 Assessor ready to formally advance their qualifications.

This is a professional consultancy position offering structured development, exposure to technically demanding environments, and a clear route toward Level 5 in Fire Engineering — with longer-term potential to pursue a degree pathway in Fire Engineering.

The Opportunity

You will deliver fire risk assessments across a diverse and technically challenging client base, including:

• Privately owned residential schemes (non-social housing)

• Manufacturing and industrial facilities

• Care environments

• Complex operational workplaces

• Recognised UK brands

• Mixed-use and specialist commercial properties

The focus is on quality, technical depth, and pragmatic advisory work.

You will be trusted to:

• Deliver comprehensive, defensible Fire Risk Assessments

• Provide commercially balanced, risk-based recommendations

• Engage confidently with senior stakeholders

• Contribute to more complex assessments as your technical capability develops

Professional Development

The consultancy is committed to long-term career investment, offering:

• Structured progression to Level 4 (where required)

• Funded development toward Level 5 in Fire Engineering

• Optional future opportunity to pursue a Fire Engineering degree

• Ongoing mentoring within a technically strong team

This is a defined career pathway within a consultancy that values technical standards and professional growth.

Candidate Profile

• Level 4 in Fire Risk Assessment or Level 3 with substantial, demonstrable experience

• Registered on the IFSM Fire Risk Assessor Register at Tier 2 (CFAR), or actively working towards registration

• Strong working knowledge of current fire safety legislation and guidance

• High standard of report writing and technical articulation

• Commercial awareness and ability to deliver proportionate, defensible advice

• Professional presence with clients and stakeholders

• Full UK Driving Licence

Package

• Salary up to £55,000

• Car allowance

• Flexible working and holiday options

• Pension, enhanced parental leave, and life insurance

• Discounts on technology, travel, and leisure

• Learning and development opportunities

We believe this role will excel your career, and our client’s company profile would certainly be of interest to you.
