Fire Safety Officer\nFlexible location (UK travel required, including nuclear sites)\n£55,000 salary + benefits\n\nJoin a leading facilities management organisation as a Fire Officer, ensuring fire safety compliance across a diverse portfolio, including high-risk nuclear environments. This is a hands-on role with exposure, offering the chance to influence fire safety culture, support operational teams, and maintain robust compliance with UK legislation and nuclear sector standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and maintain fire safety policies and procedures in line with UK legislation and nuclear regulations.\nConduct fire risk assessments and ensure timely mitigation of identified risks.\nOversee fire detection and suppression systems, ensuring maintenance and compliance.\nLead fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.\nLiaise with the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) and other statutory bodies.\nDeliver fire safety training tailored to nuclear site protocols.\nSupport facilities teams with fire safety integration into maintenance and projects.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nNEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate (or equivalent).\nExperience in fire safety within facilities management and/or high-risk environments.\nStrong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and nuclear safety protocols.\nWillingness to travel across the UK & Ireland.\nMembership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) desirable.\nVacancy Reference: PR/(phone number removed)\nVacancy Owner: Emily Swindlehurst | (url removed) | +44 (0)(phone number removed)
