Fire & Security Engineer – TXM are currently seeking an experienced engineer to join a well established company within the Fire and Security industry. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade fire and security systems—ensuring our clients stay safe, compliant, and confident in their protection systems.Salary – £37,000Location – West MidlandsHours – 40 Hours per week, 8:30am – 5pm, Monday to FridayOvertime available, time and a half Saturday, double time SundayNO CALL OUT!!Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair faults on fire alarms, emergency lighting, extinguishers, and security systemsCarry out small installations and component replacementsTest systems post‑repair to ensure full functionalityAdvise clients on issues and recommend solutionsEnsure all work complies with legal and safety standardsPerform preventative maintenance tasks to reduce system failuresMaintain excellent client relationships and represent the company professionally on‑siteStay current with industry tech and safety regulationsEssential Requirements5+ years’ experience in fire and security systemsProven fault‑finding ability across fire and security technologiesComfortable working with fire alarms, emergency lighting, extinguishers, and security systemsWilling to travel and work away from home regularlyExcellent communication and customer service skillsSelf‑motivated, proactive, and able to manage your own workloadDesirable RequirementsGENT system training (or willingness to train)Electrical qualificationsFire extinguisher servicing certificationBenefitsCompany van, laptop, mobile phone, and toolsOngoing training and development opportunitiesA supportive team environment with a trusted industry leaderCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)TXM Recruit is an equal opportunities employer.
