Fire Stopping Site ManagerLocation: Outside the M25 – ideally West London / Thames Valley / North London\n(Reading, Swindon, Slough, Watford, Luton & surrounding areas)\nProjects: Student Accommodation, Universities & Hospitals\nSalary: Competitive (DOE)\nContract Type: Permanent or Temp-to-Perm available\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Stopping Site Manager to oversee passive fire protection works across a portfolio of live projects within the education and healthcare sectors.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with strong fire stopping knowledge who enjoys running jobs properly, working closely with site teams, and delivering compliant, high-quality installations on complex projects.\nThe RoleYou will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of passive fire protection works on site, ensuring programmes, quality, and compliance standards are met.\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nManaging fire stopping packages across live sites (student accommodation, universities, hospitals)\nSupervising site operatives and subcontractors\nEnsuring all works are delivered in line with FIRAS / manufacturer specifications\nCarrying out quality inspections and resolving site issues\nCoordinating with main contractors, project teams, and internal management\nMaintaining accurate site records, QA documentation, and progress reporting\nPromoting high standards of health & safety at all timesAbout You\nProven experience as a Fire Stopping Site Manager / Supervisor\nStrong technical knowledge of passive fire protection systems\nConfident managing site teams and liaising with main contractors\nSMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)\nComfortable working across multiple live environments\nBased outside the M25, ideally West or North-West of London\nFull UK driving licenceWhat’s on Offer\nCompetitive salary depending on experience\nTemp-to-perm option available for those preferring an initial contract\nLong-term, stable pipeline of work across high-profile projects\nOpportunity to work within education and healthcare sectors\nSupportive management structure and clear progression routesIf you’re a Fire Stopping Site Manager looking for your next step — whether that’s permanent or temp-to-perm — this is a strong opportunity to join a business with consistent work and well-run projects.\n\nV7 Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on the grounds of , disability, gender, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, or maternity, race, or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
