Fire Suppression Engineer – London & Surrounding Areas
Our client is a leading specialist in fire suppression and mechanical systems, working across large-scale and critical environments, including data centres. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a skilled Fire Suppression Engineer to join their team covering London and the surrounding areas.
The Role
As a Fire Suppression Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of a range of fire suppression systems across high-profile sites. This role involves working in complex environments such as data centres, so previous experience in similar settings is highly desirable.
This is a field-based role with a strong technical and administrative element. A significant portion of your day-to-day duties will involve using a laptop for reporting, documentation, and system-related tasks, so strong IT skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation, service, and maintenance of fire suppression systems
* Working across large-scale sites, including data centres
* Completing detailed digital reports and documentation
* Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
* Ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards
* Liaising with clients and internal teams in a professional manner
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Fire Suppression Engineer or similar role
* Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems (essential)
* Good IT skills and experience using laptops for reporting
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel across London and surrounding areas
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
