Fit Out Engineer / Mechanical Engineer – Precision Manufacturing\n\nLocation: Plymouth, Devon\n\nSalary £32K - 35K Plus Overtime\n\nType: Temp To Perm - 3 Month Contract\n\nHours of work: Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 17:00\n\nShift: Day shift, 38 hours\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Work in a clean, modern production environment\n\n * Long-term programmes with stability\n\n * Contract and permanent options\n\n * Competitive pay rates or salaries\n\n * Professional recruitment support throughout\n\n * Temp to Perm opportunity (3 Month Contract)\n\n * Overtime Plus weekends and Bank holidays\n\nThe Role\n\nWe are recruiting Fit Out Engineers / Mechanical Engineers to support the assembly and installation of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems within a high-quality manufacturing environment.\n\nThese roles suit engineers who value precision, cleanliness and quality of finish, and who enjoy working with integrated mechanical systems rather than rough or repetitive production work.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Mechanical installation and assembly of complex systems\n\n * Working with power transmission, gearing and driveline components\n\n * Installation of hydraulic and fluid systems\n\n * Precision fitting to engineering drawings and specifications\n\n * Working to defined quality, safety and production standards\n\n * Maintaining clean, organised and professional work areas\n\nAbout You\n\n * Level 2 or higher engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, apprenticeship or equivalent)\n\n * Strong mechanical engineering background\n\n * Experience in one or more of the following sectors:\n\n * Aerospace or aviation maintenance\n\n * Rail or rolling stock engineering\n\n * Defence or high-integrity manufacturing\n\n * Heavy vehicle, diesel or plant engineering\n\n * Marine or complex mechanical environments\n\n * High attention to detail and pride in workmanship\n\nDirect sector experience is less important than engineering quality and systems knowledge.\n\nApply\n\nIf you are a mechanical or fit-out engineer looking to work in a quality-driven environment, apply today or contact Broadreach Recruitment for a confidential discussion
