The Role We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter /Wiremanto join our team based in the Goole area. This role involves working on High Voltage substations completing Installation work from fitting to wiring.
This Fitter/Wireman role is site based at various sites in the north east and Yorkshire area and requires a strong understanding of working within substations.
Key Requirements (Essential)
DRIVERS LICENCE
Candidates must be able to:
Provide experience working within substations.
Provide experience carrying out fitting/Wiring works.
Have the ability to work well as a team and adapt to different workstreams
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience in Earthing works .
Experience in i nstalling bus bars, clamps and structures .
Experience in installation of multicore cables, terminating, glanding and panel modifications .
Desirable Skills Northern Power grid Access codes
First aid at work
Slinger/signaller
Pasma
IPAF
Telehandler
Electrical engineering qualification
CAT and GENNY Trained
