Purpose of Role

We are working with one of the UK’s leading compliance and electrical testing specialists to recruit a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester around Luton / Oxford.

Job Description

This role offers an opportunity to work with customers from various sectors, including public and private, such as HM Prison Service, Cancer Research UK, Dixons Carphone, McDonald's, Siemens, Zurich Insurance, and the Scottish Police Authority.

Responsibilities

You will conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), perform PPM tasks, and carry out small installations with a strong customer focus. You will ensure safety compliance by completing method statements, risk assessments, and point-of-work assessments. Maintaining accurate records via mobile devices, liaising with clients to minimize disruption, and working flexibly across shift patterns and travel as needed are essential. You will also attend team meetings to review performance and compliance updates. The ideal candidate will have proven electrical testing experience and previous mobile working experience.
