My client, a trusted, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their expert team of design engineers, based in the contemporary riverside city of Bristol. Essential Criteria: A Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field Demonstrable relevant commercial experience of producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), drainage strategy reports, and working with Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) Working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (i.e., S38, S102, S104) Competent in the use of MicroDrainage WinDES, AutoCAD, and other, similar software packages Confident in the use of Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.) Excellent literacy and numeracy skills It would also benefit applicants for the role of Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to possess the following skills: A full UK driver's licence Working knowledge of planning and technical guidelines, including the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), CIRIA SuDS Design Manual, Sewer Sector Guidance, and Building Regulations In your exciting new role of Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer, you will join a specialist team of experts in the field, with a view to developing your career as you progress.
