Job Title: FLT Driver (Manual job)

Location: Walsall

Pay: Weekly Pay

Shifts: 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 Friday

A solid opportunity to join a well‑established steel processing company in Walsall, offering stability, long‑term prospects, and a role where hard work is genuinely valued. This is a temp‑to‑perm position after 12 weeks, ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work and being part of a reliable, supportive team.

You'll be working in a busy steel warehouse environment, handling heavy materials and supporting day‑to‑day operations. This is a manual, physical job, so you'll need to be comfortable with lifting, moving, and banding steel.

Key duties include:

Operating FLT (Counterbalance or similar) - licence or proven experience required

Banding steel into bundles and preparing orders

Manual handling of steel products

Loading and unloading vehicles

General warehouse duties and housekeeping

Working safely and following all site procedure

What We're Looking For

FLT Counterbalance and Reach Licences (can accept out of date ones as long as they are RTITB or ITTSAR accredited)

Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour

Reliable, hardworking, and safety‑conscious

Experience in steel or heavy industry is beneficial but not essential

Team player with a positive attitude.
