Logistics Depot – Tin Manufacturing Company
We are recruiting an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver (Days) to join our busy logistics depot within a well-established tin manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role on a structured 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.
The Role
Working within a fast-paced logistics and dispatch environment, you will be responsible for:
- Operating a B1 Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Transporting finished goods and raw materials across site
- Supporting warehouse and stock control operations
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times
Shift Pattern
- 4 on / 4 off – Days
- 6:00am – 6:00pm
- Rotating shift pattern
Essential Requirements
- Valid B1 Counterbalance FLT licence
- Willingness to undertake training on B3 Counterbalance (provided)
- Previous experience within logistics or manufacturing
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Desirable
- Reach Truck licence/experience (advantageous but not essential)
Recruitment & Training Timeline
- Interviews & assessments: Week commencing 16 March 2026
- Mandatory training & induction: Starting 23 March 2026
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2 weeks duration
- Monday to Friday
Please note: Completion of the 2-week induction/training period is mandatory.
All FLT drivers will receive additional training on the B3 Counterbalance.
