Food and Beverage Assistant

As a Food and Beverage Assistant you will provide a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being of residents within our client’s residential care homes group by ensuring the delivery of nutritious, well-balanced meals tailored to individual dietary needs.

You will work 44 hours over a 4 day week, 7.30am – 7.30pm.

This role contributes to the positive dining experience of residents while upholding the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service. This position involves hands-on meal preparation, kitchen management and active collaboration with residents and fellow staff members.

Duties Include:

* Meal preparation

* Kitchen management

* Catering Assistance

* Resident Service

* Compliance English and Maths functional skills

* Familiarity with meal service for special dietary needs

* Knowledge of food safety and standards

* Familiarity with kitchen and dining service equipment operation and maintenance

* Ability to serve diverse and appealing meals

* Able to work collaboratively with other staff members and adapt to changing priorities

* Good communication skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues

* Compassionate and empathetic towards the individual needs of residents

* Detail orientated with a commitment to maintaining high standards of person centred service, cleanliness and hygiene
