Job Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage operations within the restaurant, which caters for 40-50 covers. Assist with front-of-house duties, including welcoming guests, checking in and out residents, and ensuring excellent customer service. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service in the restaurant and communal areas. Support the team in delivering a seamless dining experience, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Assist with staff training and development to uphold service standards. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise restaurant flow. Contribute to the smooth running of the hotel's reception and accommodation services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in Food & Beverage supervision or management within a busy hospitality environment. Hands-on approach with a "can-do" attitude and a flexible, "jack of all trades" mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards. Experience with front-of-house operations, including guest check-in/out procedures. Relevant certifications such as Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene are desirable. A proactive team player with the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
