Food & Beverage Supervisor
Dorsett Shepherds Bush is looking for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Supervisor with strong bar experience. The F&B Supervisor will be responsible for the smooth running of service, providing comprehensive and proactive service across the hotel. You must have excellent organisation, interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will ensure we get the very best from our team by leading from the front. They will be detail-oriented and will be part of the team to set and maintain standards. Does this sound like a challenge you would relish? Duties will include, however not be limited to:
Prepare briefings and assist with the weekly meetings under the guidance of the Hotel Manager
To participate in cross-training to ensure you can work within any section within the F&B department.
Be fully conversant with all F&B department procedures
To carry out the end-of-day cash up of the department to the companys standards
To assist the Hotel Manager with the monthly equipment stock take
Ensure that all stock control procedures are taking place as per the companys policy
To control costs through correct stock ordering, minimising wastage, and forecasting and managing workload.
To ensure the effective supervision of the associates and monitor and meet the service and business needs.
Creation of new drinks, e.g. Cocktail of the month
Ensure excellent product knowledge of the Bar Menu
Monitor and implement training plans within the food & beverage department
