The Purchasing Team sits at the heart of operations here at The Ned London, ensuring every department has the right products, suppliers, and partnerships to keep the business moving. As the Food Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing all food products required to support The Neds multi-outlet culinary operation.

About the Ned: The Ned and Neds Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Neds Club - a private members space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.

Reporting into the Purchasing Management team, you will: Manage sourcing and day-to-day food purchasing to ensure uninterrupted operations across the hotels multi-outlet functions Act as primary contact for food suppliers and maintain effective relationships, ensuring quality, pricing and service standards are met Work closely with chefs on product selection and specification, supporting menu development and operational requirements Monitor market trends, seasonality, supplier performance and price benchmarking to support informed purchasing decisions and cost control Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier pricing, and product data within the purchasing system, while resolving invoice and pricing discrepancies

What you can bring to the role: Previous experience as a food buyer or in a comparable role, ideally within the in multi-outlet or luxury hospitality environment You will have a strong understanding of food products, quality standards, and suppliers Knowledge of using purchasing systems, experience using Adaco is preferred but not required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills such as emotional intelligence and leadership, to champion business partnering with Operations teams
