Food Production Operative

We are seeking a dedicated Food Production Operative to join manufacturing team. This role involves working within a fast-paced food production environment, ensuring that all products meet strict safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining efficient production processes while adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene protocols. Monday - Friday 07:45 - 17:00 with option for overtime when busy

Key Responsibilities

* Operate on production lines preparing and packing food products

* Accurately pack, label, and check products to meet company and customer specifications

* Work in chilled and freezer environments as required

* Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures

* Conduct basic quality checks and report any defects or issues

* Maintain a clean and organised working area in line with hygiene standards

* Assist with stock rotation and materials handling

* Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets

* Adhere to company policies, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements

Working Conditions

* Exposure to chilled (0–5°C) and freezer environments (up to -18°C)

* Standing for extended periods

* Repetitive tasks and manual handling
