We are recruiting on behalf of a supportive and well-established secondary school for a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department as soon as possible.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to deliver engaging, practical lessons that inspire students to develop essential cooking skills, nutritional knowledge, and a love for food. The role will involve teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons with a strong practical focus
• Teach key concepts including nutrition, food safety, and preparation techniques
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised kitchen/classroom environment
• Contribute to the wider Design & Technology department

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialism or experience in Food Technology or a related subject
• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• A passion for practical learning and student development
