We're looking for a dynamic Food Technology Teacher to bring creativity, energy, and real-world skills into the classroom.
About the Role This is more than just teaching recipes - it's about shaping how young people understand nutrition, sustainability, and the science behind what they eat. You'll deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that spark curiosity and build lifelong skills. You will be teaching food technology across all year groups between KS3 and KS4. The role will be 4 days per week and will be Monday to Thursday.
What You'll Be Doing
Working days are 4 per week (typically Monday - Thursday) Designing and delivering exciting Food Technology lessons across Key Stages Inspiring students to explore cooking, nutrition, and food science Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating kitchen/classroom environment Encouraging creativity, independence, and teamwork Bringing modern food trends and sustainability into your teachingWhat We're Looking For
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or strong subject specialist A genuine passion for food, health, and education Confidence in managing practical lessons in a kitchen environment Previous experience teaching food technology Creativity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to innovate Strong classroom management and communication skills DBS on the update service, or willingness to get oneWhy Join Us?
