We’re recruiting a creative and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Hartlepool. From introducing Year 7 students to the basics of baking to supporting GCSE pupils in refining their practical skills, you’ll play a key role in developing confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills in the kitchen.
The role includes:
Delivering engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
Encouraging creativity while building strong practical skills
Working in a well-resourced food technology department
Collaborating with a supportive and experienced team
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds UK QTS (PGCE applicants encouraged)
Has experience teaching in a secondary school setting
Can confidently deliver GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition
Brings energy, organisation, and strong classroom management
