Foreman - Civils

We are currently seeking an experienced Foreman to join our team on a high-profile civils project in Slough, delivering works on the 278 roundabout scheme. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced project with a well-established contractor.

Location: Slough
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + package (company car, pension, benefits)

As Foreman, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating labour, plant, and materials while maintaining strong communication with site management and subcontractors.

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
• Manage site operatives and subcontractors effectively
• Monitor progress against programme and report updates to management
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
• Assist with site documentation and reporting requirements

• Proven experience as a Foreman on civils or highways projects
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, and infrastructure works
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• CSCS card (essential)
• First Aid qualification (preferred)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
