Adults Forensic Social Worker

London Borough of Lambeth are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Adults Forensic Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. This Adults Forensic Social Worker role will be for an initial 3–6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Adults Forensic Social Worker responsibilities include: • Managing a complex caseload of adults within forensic or criminal justice settings • Undertaking comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments and mental capacity assessments • Working closely with criminal justice agencies, including probation services, courts, and secure settings • Supporting the safe discharge and resettlement of service users into the community • Ensuring the protection and safeguarding of vulnerable adults at risk • Contributing to multi-disciplinary meetings and risk management plans (e.g. MAPPA processes) • Promoting service users’ rights, independence, and recovery-focused outcomes • Preparing detailed reports for court proceedings and review panels • Working in line with relevant legislation including the Mental Health Act and Care Act ...
