We are working on behalf of a leading public sector environmental organisation in Wales to recruit a Forestry Civil Engineer to join their Integrated Engineering team in the South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for a civil engineering professional to take on a varied role supporting forestry infrastructure across Wales - delivering projects that directly contribute to sustainable land management and environmental protection. The Role You will support the delivery of the annual forestry engineering programme, helping to plan and oversee civil engineering works across the forest estate. Working closely with contractors, internal teams and stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with environmental standards. You'll play a key part in the planning of harvesting operations, maintenance of forestry road networks, and delivery of infrastructure projects, with responsibilities spanning contract supervision, inspections, surveying, reporting and budget monitoring. The organisation supports flexible and hybrid working , with office location agreed within the South Central area of Wales.
