You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer role at a profitable technology scale-up that is producing a software suite for legal firms that massively reduces para-legal workloads, they have seen huge interest in the product and have a lot of greenfield development work to get stuck into. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will collaborate closely with clients, taking ownership of client bespoke projects end-to-end with a focus on building cloud based applications / systems using Python and AWS. You'll work independently, make technical decisions and see the results of your work quickly. Location / WFH: You'll join a small but growing team based in Central Manchester three days a week (or at client sites) with flexibility to work from home the other two days. About you: You have experience of working directly with clients and taking ownership of client bespoke development work You have strong Python backend development skills ideally including FastAPI You have experience with AWS including Amazon CDK You have a strong understanding of DevOps principles You have full software development lifecycle experience and a good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices You have good business acumen, with experience of working in start-ups or SMEs You're proactive and keen to contribute to the product You are degree educated xehkeey in Computer Science or similar technical discipline Ideally, you'll have an active Github account and / or personal projects What's in it for you: As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE Python AWS) you will receive a competitive package: Salary to £80k 25 days holiday Pension Hybrid working (x3 days office in Manchester) Impactful role with excellent career progression opportunities as the company scales Apply now to find out more about this Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE Python AWS) opportunity.
