A fast-growing industrial manufacturing SaaS spinout, this company is building an AI-native Insight & Decision Platform that connects to existing maintenance and procurement systems to turn operational data into predictive insights and autonomous decisions.

The mission: help manufacturers move from systems of record to systems of execution, powered by applied AI.

Core focus areas:

• Intelligent Inventory – predictive stock optimisation
• Better Buying – autonomous procurement
• Absolute Automation – removing manual admin

Small, agile team (4 developers + Founder/CEO) with a major pilot planned for mid-2026 and strong parent-company backing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI features (intelligent search, procurement agents, predictive maintenance).
• Build and integrate LLM-driven agents, RAG pipelines, and predictive models.
• Collaborate with software engineers to embed AI securely into production.
• Define AI standards, select tools, and shape the technical roadmap.
• Opportunity to progress to CTO-level as the business scales.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in AI/ML or software engineering, with production delivery.
• Strong Python skills.
• Hands-on with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or LangGraph.
• Proficient in model deployment on cloud.
• Background in industrial manufacturing or B2B software (preferred).
• Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and collaborative.

• Salary: £75,000–£90,000 + 10–20% bonus (linked to MVP pilot)
• Location: Slough (Hybrid - 2+ days/week)
