Founding Engineer | Social Care Platform (Tech For Good) | £100K + Equity | 2/3 Days London


I am proud to be working with a company who are building software to modernise one of the UK’s most important but underserved sectors: social care.


Outdated systems and heavy administrative burden slow down decisions that directly affect vulnerable people. They are developing AI-powered tools that remove unnecessary friction and help professionals focus on what matters most, the people they support.


They are an early-stage startup backed by experienced investors and working closely with organisations across the care sector.


Now they are looking for a Founding Engineer to help build the product from the ground up.


As a Founding Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the product and the technical direction of the company.


You’ll:

  • Lead development of our AI-enabled platform
  • Design and build full-stack systems end-to-end
  • Work closely with users to turn complex workflows into intuitive tools
  • Help define architecture, technical standards, and the roadmap

I'm looking for someone who:

  • Is a strong full-stack engineer
  • Has experience building cloud-based applications
  • Has worked with LLMs or modern AI tooling
  • Enjoys early-stage environments and high ownership
  • Cares about building products that deliver real-world impact


Startup experience or strong side projects are a big plus.
