Department DescriptionThe Finance & Treasury function covers a broad spectrum of financial responsibilities for the Bank. Under the leadership of the CFO and the finance department heads, the team is responsible for equity raising and investor relations; treasury and liquidity management; prudential risk and regulatory reporting; and financial reporting, financial planning, and tax management activities. Role DescriptionThe successful candidate will be an integral part of the FP&A team in a rare role in industry. The individual will be involved and have exposure to a wide breadth of activities including business partnering, assisting in the monthly reforecast process, analysis of pricing and returns, delivery of key MI and production of regulatory documentation such as ICAAP, ILAAP and Recovery Plans. Principal AccountabilitiesSupporting monthly and ad‑hoc forecasting procedures across key product lines and channels for the Bank, ensuring accuracy and insightAnalyzing performance and identifying risks and opportunities, preparation of variance analysisWorking with large data sets to provide analysis and insightsAssisting with production of monthly and ad‑hoc reporting including professional‑standard PowerPoint presentationsSupporting returns, conversion and price sensitivity analysisSupporting budget and strategic plan cyclesContributing to continuous improvement in processes and systems, including automation Personal Attributes & ExperienceProfessional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or experienced finance professionalExperience within Finance / FP&AStrong analytical skillset, including the utilisation of data and reporting toolsAdvanced Excel skills, ability to prepare professional‑standard PowerPoint decks and present analysisCollaborative team player with excellent communication skills and ability to build relationshipsConfidence to work autonomously and be initiative‑taking as required while working well within a teamAbility to prioritise workload to meet competing deadlines effectivelyExperience with Anaplan or other forecasting software desirable but not requiredExperience with Power Query and Power BI desirable but not required Working at Allica BankAt Allica Bank we want to ensure our employees have the right tools and environment in which to succeed in their role and in support of our customers.
