Passive Fire Protection Site Manager (Social Housing)Position: Passive Fire Protection Site Manager\n Sector: Social Housing\n Location: Enfield \n Salary: £65,000\n\nOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Passive Fire Protection (PFP) Site Manager to oversee the delivery of fire stopping, fire door, and compartmentation works across occupied social housing properties. The successful candidate will ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry regulations, manufacturer test evidence, and project specifications.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManage day-to-day site operations across multiple occupied social housing properties, ensuring works are delivered to required quality and compliance standards.\n\nOversee fire stopping, fire door installation/maintenance, and passive fire protection remedial works.\n\nCoordinate site teams, subcontractors, and liaison functions to ensure smooth project delivery.\n\nEnsure strict adherence to ASFP guidance, FIRAS/BM Trada requirements, and BS 8214, 476, and 9999 standards.\n\nConduct site inspections, quality checks, and compliance audits throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nReview and verify installation evidence, photographs, and documentation on systems such as OneTrace, BORIS, or Site Audit Pro.\n\nManage programme schedules, labour allocation, materials, and daily progress reporting.\n\nEnsure all health & safety procedures are followed, including RAMS, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safeguarding considerations for occupied properties.\n\nLiaise with residents, client representatives, fire safety teams, and local authorities to maintain clear communication and minimise disruption.\n\nPrepare and submit daily/weekly reports, progress updates, and handover documentation.\n\nSupport the project team in resolving technical challenges, design queries, and compliance issues.\n\nKey Requirements\nProven experience as a Site Manager in the passive fire protection sector (fire stopping, fire doors, or fire remedials).\n\nExperience delivering works in occupied social housing environments (essential).\n\nStrong understanding of PFP compliance requirements, test evidence, and installation standards.\n\nAccreditation or working knowledge of FIRAS, BM Trada, or similar third-party schemes.\n\nProficiency with compliance/reporting software (BORIS, OneTrace, Site Audit Pro, or equivalent).\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with residents and client teams.\n\nStrong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously.\n\nUp-to-date Health & Safety qualifications (SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness).\n\nASFP qualifications (Level 2 or 3) beneficial but not essential.\n\nWhat We Offer\nOpportunity to work with a respected fire safety contractor within the social housing sector.\n\nOngoing training and professional development (ASFP, FIRAS, BM Trada).\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\n\nLong-term project pipeline and career progression opportunities
