Job Overview
This is a fast-paced, high-impact role responsible for leading and delivering compliance rework projects across a global fragrance portfolio. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, fragrance house partners, and cross-functional teams, requiring strong project ownership, leadership capability, and clear, confident communication.
Role Purpose
To manage and support fragrance compliance projects across the Vestacy portfolio, overseeing fragrance house engagement, technical qualification, and successful product launch.
Key Accountabilities
*
Lead end-to-end fragrance compliance rework programmes, coordinating across fragrance houses, regulatory and safety partners, fragrance creation teams, and technical functions.
*
Act as a central point of contact, ensuring clear, timely communication with all key stakeholders.
*
Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and drive solutions by leveraging internal and external expertise.
*
Partner closely with fragrance design teams to secure olfactive approval and manage qualification through to launch.
*
Work across multiple formats and brands, managing timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations across geographies.
*
Liaise with technical development and supply chain teams to ensure all deliverables are completed to plan and handed over successfully.
*
Operate effectively within the defined operating model, ensuring compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
Key Challenges
*
Managing end-to-end compliance projects while balancing speed, quality, cost, and risk.
*
Prioritising multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
*
Ensuring alignment and timely decision-making across brands, technical teams, and global partners.
Skills & Experience Required
*
5+ years’ experience in project management, with the ability to build and manage timelines aligned to operating models and business stage gates.
*
Strong ability to engage and influence experts to secure timely approvals and sign-off.
*
Technical curiosity and a problem-solving mindset, with confidence navigating complex challenges.
*
Understanding of R&D qualification, validation requirements, and production success criteria.
*
Self-starter who can work independently and take full ownership of deliverables.
*
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with confident presentation capability.
Salary & Contract Details
*
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum
*
Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract
*
Pay: Weekly, via PAYE or Self-Employed/Limited Company
*
Start: Immediate start available
