With a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and technical expertise, the company offers a full range of services including electrical installations, testing and inspection, maintenance, and project support.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nWe are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Project Manager to play a key role overseeing the electrical packages on multiple education & core sector projects. You will report to the head office in North Yorkshire with travel to further sites as required.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive electrical system designs, managing budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensuring full compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. You will also oversee procurement, proactively manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOffer specialised electrical expertise\nOversee and coordinate electrical subcontractors\nResolve challenges that could affect project timelines\nConduct thorough project assessments and analyses\nManage project spending to maintain budget alignment\nMaintain and enforce health and safety standards on-site\nPrepare comprehensive cost projections and project budgets\nIdentify potential risks and develop strategies to minimize them\nMonitor project timelines and ensure adherence to the schedule\nRespond to client concerns and issues swiftly and professionally\nWorking closely and directly reporting to Visiting Contracts Manager\nMaintain clear and efficient communication with all project contractors\nOversee daily project operations and ensure tasks progress as scheduled\nIdentify and allocate necessary resources, including staff, equipment, and materials\nCollaborate with procurement to ensure the on-time delivery of materials and equipment\nDevelop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource distribution\nCollaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to develop the electrical system's blueprint\nProvide regular project updates and progress reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders\nConduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations\nSet and maintain quality control standards to ensure project deliverables meet the defined requirements\nEnsure accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports\nCoordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution\nEnsure electrical projects are completed effectively, safely, and within the specified scope, timeline, and budget\nLead and motivate project teams, ensuring all members have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilitiesContact Details:\n\nJames Shorte - Associate Director\n\nT: (phone number removed)\n\nThomas Robertshaw - Resourcer\n\nT: (phone number removed)
