Kenton Black are urgently recruiting for a Freelance Site Manager on behalf of a leading contractor within the Tayside area.
Role: Freelance Site Manager
Location: Coupar Angus
Duration: 4 Weeks
Start Date: 9th March
Rate: £27 CIS per hour (40–45 hours per week)
Our client, a reputable construction contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to support ongoing works in Coupar Angus. This short-term contract requires a confident leader who can ensure smooth site operations, manage subcontractors effectively, and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site activities, ensuring work progresses on programme and to the required standard
- Coordinate subcontractors, issuing clear direction and maintaining productive working relationships
- Monitor site productivity and address issues proactively
- Carry out essential site administration such as reporting and progress updates
- Uphold strong health & safety practices across the site
- Support the project through a critical phase, ensuring a professional and organised approach
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager within construction
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to coordinate fast-paced site operations independently
- Mandatory certifications: SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
- Immediate availability from 9th March
