Drawing on a 90-year legacy from our Swiss clinic, we develop premium nutraceutical products designed to support cellular resilience.We have established a network of luxury points of sale in London across leading department stores and prestigious wellbeing and health destinations (including John Bell & Croyden, Harrods, Mandarin Oriental, and Weather & Palette) and we are now looking to support our continued growth and expansion.The RoleWe are looking for a freelance Visual Merchandising & Retail Consultant to support our retail presence by ensuring excellence in visual merchandising while contributing to commercial and operational initiatives.This role combines creativity, operational excellence, and business insight to strengthen relationships with retail partners, enhance customer experience, and support stores performance. The consultant will work on a project or part-time basis, collaborating closely with the Swiss headquarters teams to ensure that trade and merchandising activities align with brand objectives.Key Responsibilities :Store Visits & Visual MerchandisingConduct regular store visits (1–2 times per month, or as directed) to review and ensure excellence in visual merchandising standards across all retail locations and provide store visit reports.Assess, adjust, and optimise product displays, window presentations, in-store layouts, and trade materials (samples, brochures, etc.), ensure all stores are consistently aligned with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.Identify opportunities to improve product placement, customer flow, and retail presentation.Build strong relationships with store teams and retail partners to support high standards. Provide guidance or training to store teams on VM & Trade tools best practices.Support new product launches and seasonal/promotional displays. Assist in developing guidelines.Field Insights & Reporting: Gather and report insights from store visits and in-store observations, providing clear recommendations to support continuous improvement, optimize performance, and inform commercial planning and promotional strategies.Account launch: Support the successful onboarding of new retail partners, ensuring visual merchandising and brand positioning meet Swiss excellence standards.Work closely with Clinique La Prairie Holistic Health Sales, Marketing and Operations teams.Deliver reports and strategic recommendations following store visits or project work.Be an ambassador for the Brand. Build strong relationships with department managers, floor managers, and store teams, to support trade activities.Contribute to brand advocacy with stores leaders and team. Liaise with the Knowledge & Sales team when you spot that additional training is required.Provide feedback on market trends and competitor activity.QualificationsYou are a strong relationship builder, able to represent a premium brand with credibility and professionalism, and to build meaningful engagement with luxury retail partners and in-store teams.3-5 years proven experience in visual merchandising and trade relationships within luxury, beauty, or premium retail brands. Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising standards, and in-store execution.You understand the commercial drivers of London’s luxury retail and wellness environments.You are a self-motivated freelance professional, highly organized and results-driven, with a strong commitment to excellence and execution.Strong analytical and observational skills, with the ability to translate field insights into actionable recommendations.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Start date : 1st May 2026, or to be agreedEngagement: Freelance – estimated 20% / one day per week, or a defined number of days per month, with flexibility depending on store cadence, activations, and launches.
