Our client is a global manufacturer based in West Dunbartonshire. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Freight Administrator to be responsible for carrying out data and invoicing management for the business.

Providing support in data entry, database maintenance, query resolution on financial and operational issues.

Overview

- Act as key contact for day to day internal and external issues - Capture and log all carrier related operation and financial issues - Process Freight Rate Requests from Customer Service Teams - Assist to produce key reporting for business trends on spend - Input and upkeep the administration of transportation system

Internally, you'll work closely with Customer Service, Warehousing, Inventory & Planning and Finance. Externally, you will work with Carriers/Agents and Customers.

Your blend of talent * Data entry and analytical reporting skills essential * Good working knowledge of Excel with Reporting, Microsoft Office Applications. * Demonstrate attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem solving. * Demonstrate data analysis and analytical skills to support managing costs and supplier selection. * Ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain data integrity levels.
